in 2022, we launched our first Graduate Student Animation Commission, which was open to all animation 2022 graduates based in Devon or Cornwall..

The selected idea was Beanka, from Mal Biele, an animation graduate from Arts University Plymouth. 

​

Beanka, is a 2D animation that tells the story of a cat faced with prejudice based solely on how she looks, and the importance of the support that a community and friends can give.

​

Yellow Mouse Studios supported the production and has helped Mal place the finished film in festivals.
